The joys of extended family! My Grandparents from Iowa and my cousin Erica were with us all last week for Sarah's graduation. It was so fun. My Grandad enjoys debate (but not in an annoying way) so discussions with him are always enjoyable esp. with his dosage of wit and sarcasm. My Granda is a sweetheart! On our drive back from Canada she gave a me a back-seat-mini-history-lesson of our family in the contexts of scrapbooks. It was terribly interesting esp. the part about my Great Grandad and his WWII scrapbooks my Granda and Great Aunt Lynn found one year ago. And now I have a strong desire to go to Iowa in August to see all of these and to spend more quality time with my grandparents... though my mom likes to remind me that A)I have no money, and B) I need to work... so! possibly scratch on that train.. but we'll see.
