where I've come from. where I've been. where I'm going.

I was so angry with myself last night. I attribute it to lack of sleep and the fact that I treated a good friend in a less than exceptional way and I hate it when I do that! Friends are so precious and they deserve so much more than to be the butt of your jest.

I felt like saltwater taffy on those... stretchy machine things: constantly being pulled and shoved by my own emotions. So this afternoon I knew I had to relax and let God unwind me. I went to the library and picked up a CD of Mozart's Piano Sonatas, came back to the room, turned out all the fluorescent lights and created this soothing ambiance. Homework wasn't as high on my priority list as I thought: I finished one assignment (which is a bonus) and spent the rest of my time watching the rain and taking pictures of angels and lifeboats. I also got to spend a few minutes appreciating three of my favorite people: Sarah, Adrianne, and Veronica.

Tomorrow I get to hike again! And it's production weekend again! The theme for this weekend is Taikonauts in honor of the first Chinese Spaceman! So fun.

The rain makes me miss home. And Carly.

Have a fantastic weekend!

because sarah is cool and spent so. much time working on this, here is the latest edition to the collected works of sarah michal albertson:

so here's a story.

There was this girl who was riding in a car in a city and she ran into a homeless person. She didn't kill him, but her car was dead. So she got out and started walking. Eventually she began to run and as she was running she began to fly. So she flew over the city and across the water to the other side where she had never been before. She was never allowed to go to the other side because her parents thought the people over there were crazy, but there she was. So she decided to look around and was amazed by everything around her. The grass wasn't green. In fact, there wasn't grass. the whole ground was made of glass. The hills were made of glass, and fields. But she couldn't see through it because it reflected everthing. It reflected the Trees, which were really more like crystal statues and the leaves falling off of them glissened in the sunlight. They were almost blinding. The houses were made of silver with embedded diamonds and jewels and gems. She was so amazed by all of these wonderful and beautiful things, she couldn't believe that no one from the city knew about this place. Then she saw someones relfection on a hill and eventually that person came into her full sight. She then remembered why he mother wouldn't let her come here: all the people had blue skin. The blue skinned boy walked up to her and began speaking a language she had never heard. He led her into one of the diamond houses and sat her at a glass table, where he served her some tea that was so shimmery she could see her relfection in it. Then she drank the tea and went back outside. She felt so happy that she began to fly again. She flew over the glass hills and crystal trees and smiled at her reflection. While watching herself fly, she began to notice that she herself was turning blue. So she figured out that the tea she drank turned her this color and she was filled with joy. "They will never accept me in the city now, I'll have to stay here forever!" And she did. and she lived happily ever after. THE END!
