I am still up to my old tricks:

Amanda and I biked into Fort Langley this afternoon to take pictures. We tresspassed and broke into a little old first nation catholic church. On the way home we passed Belmont Golf Course. The wind has been with us this latter half of the week having taken his toll on the trees and the golf course signs. In the ditch I spotted an orphaned sign; a piece of the golf course... "17 th AND 18 th".... I couldn't just leave it there!

When he asked me if I had any comments, suggestions or praises I couldn't tell him: "I hate the comm program here and I want to go somewhere else!" How do you say that to the head of the department? Maybe I don't hate it entirely just mostly... Are expenses and environment a good enough reason to keep me here the next two years or do I go where I can attain experience... something tells me the latter is of utmost importance.

I love Trinity. I love the safety I feel running by myself at midnight. I love knowing that my questions will be answered by godly experts. I love living with people who aren't ashamed of themselves or their faith. I love praising God in a tight community. I love......... going to french class... well actually love is too strong a word, but that is what I have to do right now.... to be continued.

so to continue: I don't think trinity will be the stepping stone I need into the world of journalism. As of right now it is my stepping stone into life. The other day I made a list:

the list is growing... (then I made a list about things of my childhood, but that's for another time).

It's been a year. I need to be patient because really, it's too early to be making such hasty decisions: that's for next fall after my 300 level class starts.

Tonight I have the priviledge of leading dorm meeting; it's one of my duties as ARA. What will I be talking about? My favorite thing right now: silence. So many good things have come from those nightly moments by the pond. I wish you all could've seen it last night: it was wet and I was getting over the shock of nearly being mauled by an agitated goose (shoot.. the power is trying to go out.. the wind is really kicking outside). In the last moments before leaving I just asked God to show me something that I needed to see or tell me something I needed to hear. I looked up to the moon and saw a huge hand in the clouds... more I saw the hand in the absence of the clouds. These words greeted the vision: My hand is ever before you. In love I lead you. It was truly amazing... and now I have to go share!

I think I need to stop raw material. While I enjoy getting my writings out there and under critical eyes: I don't think it's time yet. There is a lot of emotion packed in there. Too much can be misinterpreted. Not enough is questioned. I think it's too intimidating. ....?
