A typical story: blogger ate my post! ah! angst... but I will recreate the important part:

645am: James was at the computer packaging the paper while Christo and I were in the hall scanning it a third or fourth time for perfection. Exhaustion had come and gone more than once, but the spinning plates kept us going.

Christo stood with the paper like a brick path before him,

"This is good... This is really good!"

Like a father watching his daughter take her first steps, a smile flooded his face. He was pleased, and his pleasure multiplied mine. The Mars' Hill team assembled a gem.

So you may ask, "why is she up so late?!"

and then you remember, "oooh! It's been two weeks: it's production weekend!"

and then I say, "I need another iced caffeinated beverage from Tim Hortons!"

then you say, "coffee puts you to sleep..."

then I say, "zzzzzzzzz"

To add to the natural excitement of working the newspaper: I drew an outlet and power cord in Illustrator, and then I recreated the whole world in (less than) seven hours. Illustrator has got to be the best program ever created!

And to add to that excitement: the people I work with are awesome!

I miss you all (even my canadian cohorts who I saw very little of today)!
