Something is changing in my perspective. I was reminded this week of the necessity of a heavenly aim and thus rectified my focus (and continue to) and have seen small fruits from this new fertilizer. Primarily in the way I handle life's different everyday dealings. While looking towards heaven, somehow everything about me just falls into its proper place. Looking towards Jesus and not at my stumbles or the ruts in the path has led me to safer/wiser ground. It reminds me of mountain biking... in an article I read it talks about keeping your eyes on the path 10-20 feet before of you, not at what is falling under your wheel. This doesn't mean worrying over the future, but more remembering our final destination (heaven) and living like we need to to get there.

A couple prayer requests I would like to share:

Pray for Dave, Woodinville's own hobo. We talked with him the other night and he is such a nice man! If any you have any extra clothes pack 'em in your car. Or... baked goods. Then give 'em next time you see him. I think he is a believer; he was super excited to get the mini-Gideons Bible I ripped from the baccalaureate. He said he liked to have the Word close to him, as he attempted to stuff it in his coat pocket. Yeah, cool man!

Pray for Marty, Sarah's and my friend from work. After hanging out with him all night at graduation we invited him to come with us to 18-28 this thursday. He is not Christian but pray that he experiences God in a HUGE way. He is experience oriented, Erin said after talking with him, and just hasn't experienced God yet... or doesn't know that he has.

Pray for my Great Aunt Lynn, she went in for some sort of back surgery today because she has been in a lot of pain. I guess they had to remove a rib or something... pray for a speedy recovery!
